The Palliser family business got its start in 1944in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and have remained a privately-held, family-owned, Canadian-based organization. What started as a small business by our founder A.A. DeFehr, selling wooden stools and tables, has evolved into a North American institution, offering upholstered furniture in nearly every category – from recliners to beds to sectionals and beyond. We’re exceptionally proud of our heritage and the expertise we’ve honed over three quarters of a century in the furniture industry. Like our namesake John Palliser, the trailblazing Canadian explorer, our passion for discovery is at the heart of everything we do.
