Traditionally, Humanscale chairs have sat amongst the highest-priced chairs on the market, given their superior performance, top of the line materials, and exceptional functionality.  Now, after extensive engineering, we are excited to announce the launch of World One, a task chair that delivers both Humanscale quality and the latest technology at a more accessible price point using fewer parts. The World One is a new approach to Niels Diffrient’s renowned World Chair, our most minimal, yet fully functional task chair ever made.  Designed with the same innovative tri-panel mesh backrest and weight-sensitive reclined as its predecessor, the World One chair is a cost-effective solution that delivers unmatched ergonomic support and the ultimate user-friendly sitting experience.  By offering it in just one model version/one SKU/one color, it enables us offer it to you at a more accessible price point and faster lead times to go after the mid-market seating price points that Humanscale does not currently participate.  World One is not meant to replace or overlap with your current World chair focus, but rather complement and address the more price sensitive consumers purchasing for their home office that may not have been able to afford our current seating assortment offer.
